Google Logo Causing Stock Hit

The Onion ran one of their faux "man on the street" pieces last Thursday, asking "Google recently suffered a 13% percent drop in stock price, the sharpest drop in the history of the company.
What do you think?" Besides that they use the same photos over and over, running a different name each day, or that when you rollover the photos it identifies them as "asian man", "young woman" and "black man", I particularly liked this response:
"Maybe if they didn't spend all their money revamping the logo for every obscure holiday, they wouldn't be in this mess."
In fact, in Google's last earnings report, it was revealed that Google's logo spending for Q4 2005 was 36% of the gross national earnings of Khazakstan. Yes, I can call that a "fact". Why? Because I don't need to keep a straight face on the internet.
