Yeah, I don't get this, but I'm sure some people probably think its the greatest thing since… that other thing.
Google Idol is a head to head competition of people singing in Google Videos. The site is not affiliated with Google, and there appear to be no prizes yet, but it still looks like fun. Vote for your favorite of the two video, and the winner moves onto the next round. Enjoy!
